22 week “Get Fit” Training


Program begins Saturday, January 12th 2013 This program is designed for those novice runners that need to get into “running shape” before beginning their marathon or half marathon training. The first 6 weeks of this program will help you to build your running base and increase your mileage so that you are ready to train for The 2013 San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon events on June 16, 2013. You will increase your fitness level, build your endurance, improve your speed and gain the tools to eat properly, stay hydrated and avoid running injuries. All Programs Feature:

  • San Francisco, East Bay, and South Bay training locations.
  • Trail running options
  • Detailed day-to-day training schedule
  • Several group workouts per week (a weeknight track workout, weeknight jogs, and a long run on the weekend)
  • VIP Race Day Hospitality with bag check, massages, and breakfast at the end of your race
  • RRCA and USATF Certified Coaches
  • Coach support on long runs, at the track, and via email
  • Seminars by experts on stretching, injury prevention, heart rate training, nutrition, footwear, foam rolling, strength training, and more
